Preserving cultural heritage is achieved through educational programs and activities, with institutions such as the History Museum of Lithuania Minor, the Sea Museum and the Klaipeda City Municipality Centre of Ethnic Culture
49 organising diverse educational initiatives. These programs provide participants with insights into traditional crafts and the history of the region. Additionally, ethnic-origin national holidays such as Easter, Christmas Eve, Shrovetide and St. John's Day are celebrated with events adhering to ethnic traditions. The preservation of traditional costumes is another aspect, with these garments showcased in history museums, worn by members of folk groups during performances and donned during traditional festivals, national events and fairs by performers and craftsmen-vendors alike.
