The workshops organised by the Agricultural Training School, under the jurisdiction of the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality’s Department of Agriculture, provide a unique opportunity for both local and international tourists to immerse themselves in the principles of sustainable agriculture. Notably, the active involvement of women from neighbouring villages, showcasing their products, adds a dynamic dimension to these workshops. Participants, both local and foreign, engage in hands-on activities such as cooking with freshly harvested produce, preparing vegetables for drying and actively participating in sowing and planting exercises. 24 authentic experience in an agricultural setting, these workshops contribute to the economic empowerment of residents in the surrounding villages, creating a mutually beneficial environment.
